Introduction
FundMatchr takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share your personal data when you use our website and make an enquiry, and your rights under data protection law.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.

FundMatchr is an independent credit broker for business finance for UK limited companies and limited liability partnerships (LLPs). We are not a lender and we do not give financial advice.
The Information We Collect
We collect the personal data you give us when you make an enquiry, together with information from public registers and from the checks we run:
- Identity data: your name and date of birth.
- Contact data: your email address and mobile number.
- Business and funding data: your company's details and your answers about the funding you need, your business and your residential status.
- Check data: the results of checks we run to verify your details and assess eligibility, including a business credit check.
- Technical and usage data: how you use our website, your device and browser, and the advert or link you arrived from.
- Publicly available data: information from public registers, such as Companies House.
We do not ask for or knowingly collect special category data (such as health or ethnicity). If you give us personal data about another person, you confirm you have their permission to do so.
Lawful Bases for Processing
- Consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) - to share your enquiry with finance providers and credit brokers, given when you submit your details. You can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect anything we did before.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) - to verify and assess your enquiry and match it to suitable providers, to prevent fraud and spam, and to measure and improve our website and advertising.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) - to keep records the law requires.
How We Use Your Personal Data

Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only where necessary with:
- Finance providers and credit brokers we introduce your business to - each handles your data under its own privacy policy
- Credit reference agencies and data providers - to check and verify your details
- Service providers - such as hosting, communications and analytics providers, acting on our instructions
- Advertising partners - to measure how our ads perform (see Cookies)
- Regulators and authorities - where the law requires it
International Transfers
Some of our service providers may process your data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as an adequacy decision or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement. You can ask us for details at info@surgeflowgrowth.com.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, analytics data for up to 14 months, and records the law requires (such as tax records) for 6 years, then delete or anonymise it.
Marketing Communications
We only send you information about our services where the law allows it. You can opt out at any time by emailing info@surgeflowgrowth.com or using the unsubscribe option in any message.
Automated Decision-Making
We use automated checks on your answers, your company's public record and, where it applies, a business credit check to decide whether, and to which finance providers and credit brokers, we introduce your enquiry. Finance providers make their own lending decisions. You have the right to ask for a person to review an automated decision, to give your point of view and contest it, and to object to it. Your Data Protection Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data erased
- Restrict or object to how we use it, including for direct marketing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent, where we rely on it

Data Sharing
By submitting your details, you consent to us sharing the information you give us, and the results of our checks, with the finance providers and credit brokers we introduce your business to, including Funding Options by Tide, so they can assess its eligibility for business finance and contact you about it. They may run soft credit and identity checks, which will not affect your credit score, and may check fraud prevention databases - if fraud is detected, you or others could be refused finance or other services.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, please contact us first at info@surgeflowgrowth.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies, including your browser's storage, to run the site and remember your progress, and for analytics and advertising measurement (such as the Meta Pixel) to understand how the site and our ads perform. They load when you view a page. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or object to this tracking by emailing info@surgeflowgrowth.com.
Commission Disclosure
We may receive a fee from the providers we introduce you to. This does not affect the rate or terms you are offered.
Funding Options by Tide
Funding Options by Tide is a credit broker and we will share your application with them so they can review your information and, if suitable, contact you over phone or email about finance offers from their panel of partner lenders. They will receive a commission from lenders for arranging your finance. Funding Options by Tide terms and privacy policy will apply.
